Recommended fabric
Sweat Jersey (250 to 300g/m2) or thick wool blend with stretch. No more than 35% elasticity, or the sweatshirt may not hold up well in the sleeves.
In this version, I sewed the sweatshirt with Mind The Maker sweat jersey and matching rib knit.

- 4 strips of 8 x 1 cm fusible interfacing
- Option with zippers: 2 metal-toothed zippers 12 cm each
- 35 cm x 3 cm jersey bias tape for the clean finish strip

“ It’s a really fun pattern that will keep adventurous beginners engaged with things like sewing knits, working with and encasing ribbing for a clean finish, adding exposed zippers. This pattern lends itself to so many fun variations of color and fabric within its components. And, it has the added bonus of being a quick sew so you can enjoy your garment right away. I love that it’s a cozy oversized sweat that can be worn as is or layered over a woven top for a more styled look. ” – Jeannette
